Happy New Year

Good Morning and A Very Happy Near to all you lovely people.

What did you all do last night???

Ready with your resolutions?? I know we all make resolutions and eventually break them. :D\

I am here ready with my Beauty / Fashion Resolution 2013. Hope to keep some if not all -

• I will not sleep with makeup on. I know some of you must be thinking who does that??? But honestly I have so many times done that just because I was tired. Also I will follow my CTM routine regularly.No skipping it once in a while.
• I have got into this habit of skipping breakfast and have to change that too.
• I have to LOOSE WEIGHT. I don't intend to be size zero but I am 2-3 kg ( read 5 Kg) overweight.Have to shed those extra kilos. And yes to make it work I am not shopping for clothes till I do that :(
• Oil my hair regularly. And yes there is a herbal oil recipe I got from a neighbor which are the secret to her beautiful long hair. I am soon making that oil. Do you want me to share??? Tell me in the comments and I will do a detailed post on that too :)
• BLOG Regularly. I hope I keep this one :)

That is it. Let see how much I succeed with these.

New Year Outfit Inspiration

Hey Girls!!!

How was your day? What did you do today -  last Sunday of the year???

I spent all my day doing my favorite thing -SHOPPING. Shopping for the new year's eve.

And then it struck to me . Am I the only one who goes shopping at the eleventh hour or there are more people like me :P. And then the idea for this post came to me.

If there are any people like me and if someone who has not gone shopping till now, you still have a day.Check out my Outfit idea. And it may be helpful because there is hardly any time left.

I am going to use all the products - dress, shoes, accessories, etc. from shopperstop.com . And before you think otherwise let me make it clear - THIS IS NOT A SPONSORED POST. Lakme Eyeconic Kajal - Product Review and EOTD

Hey Girls !!!

Hardly any time left for the year to end. Ready with your plans for the New Year's eve??? Am so excited :D

So here comes my first product review - Lakme Eyeconic Kajal

  

What Lakme Claims :

• 10 hr
• No smudge
• Water Proof
• Dermatologically tested

Price:

• Rs. 199/- for 0.35 g.

Packaging:

•  It is a retractable twist to open kajal with a fitted cap. The black-turquoise combination is very attractive.
• Travel friendly packaging. Easily fits into the purse.
• 30 months shelf life.

This doesn't look as dark in the picture as it actually is :(

My thoughts:

I have been using this for about a month now and I am in love with this kajal. Very soft and easily glides. It is dark but not the darkest of all. One has to apply 2-3 swipes to get the very dark colour. It is water proof and doesn't smudge at all. It did not last complete 10 hrs on my waterline. Starts fading a bit after 6 hrs. I have worn it for 8 hrs most and it did not fade at all on the upper lashes.  

I did not find any ingredient list either on the packet or their website but the product is dermatologically tested so safe for eyes. Also it did not irritate my eyes at all.

This won't come off easily and an oil - based makeup remover has to be used.

What I Like:

• Water Proof
• Doesn't smudge. I hate kajals that smudge and give me raccoon eyes.
• Lasts long enough.
• Dark.
• Good shelf life
• Not very expensive.

What I don't like:

• No ingredient list but since it is dermatologically tested I can overlook this.

Will I repurchase: 

Yes ofcourse I will. Give it a try if you haven't and you may fall in love too.

Ratings:

4.9/5 ( -0.1 for no ingredient list). Don't blame me for being partial. It is safe for eyes the packet says :)

My Week Highglights #1

Hey Gals !!!

Last week was an exciting one for me. And now its Monday again :( . How was the weekend?? What did you do??

So here is what I did this week

• Started Blogging : Yayyy !!! Wanted to do this for long but something or the other came in between. But now I have a blog and I can write :D. Write what I like, what I don't. And yes I have made my new year resolution # 1 a week before the year ends. I WILL BLOG REGULARLY. So show some support pretty ladies:)

• Irani Cafe : 4 years ago we ( me and friends) had made a plan to go to Irani Cafe together. But then that never happened. I am still wondering why. But better late than never. So this Wednesday we went to Cafe Military. Loved the food. Its easy on pocket too. Their Kheema Pav and Caramel Custard is a must have.

• Blogger's Meet : Attended my first ever Blogger's Meet - Shave or Crave by Blogadda and loved it. The foot spa at Sukho Thai was so good  ( a detailed post coming up soon ). Also it was good to meet the fellow blogger's. Thank You BlogAdda  :)

• Movie: Went for Dabang 2 with a friend ( just because she wanted to). Did you watch Dabang 2? I am not a fan of masala movies so did not like it much. You can surely miss this if you are not an ardent Salman Khan fan.

• Handmade Clutch: Few months ago I had participate in Hidesign's  Art of Reuse contest and had made a clutch from the scrap leather they sent. The contest had so many creative entries.  I did not win but the Hidesign people gave me the clutch back and that too with their logo embossed on it. So happy. I am going surely flaunting this in coming posts  :D

• Happy Christmas : And Wishing you all a very HAPPY CHRISTMAS girls...enjoy. Wishlist for Mr. Santa Ready ??? :D

Stubble or Me????

Hey Gals !!!!

Love your guy but hate his stubble??

Have you not lost the count of how many times you asked him to shave but he didn't?? :(

Did he give reasons like - 

• " Shaving is really boring ."
• "Stubble is so in. Everyone is sporting it these days."
• "I have other important things to do. No time to shave "

etc. etc. etc........

No your guy is no alien. Every guy does that :(

So what to do? Give up and live with it?

The answer is a big NO!!!

Its time we make it clear - SHAVE OR CRAVE

Here are few tips that can help : 

• Help Him : They don't have time / It is boring. Right? Help him shave. The way Ana did to Mr. Grey ( refer Fifty Shades Of Grey if you don't know what I mean). It would me more fun with you. :D

• Hide and Seek : Play this age old game to get him shave. Boys love their toys, don't they??? Hide their gaming CDs, X-Box controller, etc. Want it back?? Go shave first

• Cancel Weekend Plan: Had a Sunday brunch planned?? Cancel it. Instead go movie and shopping with your girlfriends. Safe bet it is. Either he shaves or you shop :D

• Make him Jealous: Somebody said only women are jealous. He / she was wrong. Men are equally jealous. So next time you see his friend / colleague / someone on T.V./ any Mr. XYZ with a clean shave tell him how much you like Men - (minus) Stubble  :P

• Go to Bed Alone : None of the above worked??? This will surely work. Tell him to choose you or the stubble for company to bed. And we all know what he will choose.
