  • CLEANSER : You Can use the coconut milk as cleanser. Yes it removes dirt and gives you a squeaky clean skin.
  • MOISTURIZER: It contains  lots of fats and hence has moisturizing properties too. I am too lazy to do this so I use Parachute's Deep Nourish Body Lotion. Give it a try and I am sure you will love it too

  • REPAIR: Coconut milk is also known to repair the damaged skin and give it a smooth texture and glow.
  • ACNE : I don't have acne prone skin but have heard it helps you get rid of acne too.
  • AGEING: No one can stop the wrinkles and fine lines but they can be delayed right. Regular use of Coconut milk will help you with that :)
And yes all of this goodness without any side effects :D

So what are you waiting for?? Go crack open the coconut for soft glowing skin :)

Coral Black Nail Art

Hey Girls!!!
Here is a quick Nail Art Tutorial.

Very simple and you don't need any nail art tool. Can be done on short nail too ( you can see mine are short too :P). Checkout how to do this.

Things you will need:

  • Two contrasting nail colors. ( I have used coral and black. You can use any 2 colors of your choice)
  • Cello tape. ( Cut them into one inch strips and de-glue them by placing them on back of your hand or anything else and removing it. Continue this till the tape is devoid of all the glue to ensure it doesn't spoil your nail color.)
  • Top coat.  ( To seal the nail paint applied )
  • Also keep nail remover handy in case you need to clean any mess.

How To:

  • Clean your nail and apply a coat of the coral nail paint. Wait for it and to dry and apply the second coat.
  • Once the first nail color is completely dry, place the cello tape strips forming a V as in the picture below.
  • Now apply the black color in the V area and let it dry completely. After it is dry take off the cello tape.
  • Apply the top coat to seal the nail art. Your NOTD is ready

A Day Out With Blogger

- Guest Post by

Hello Everyone!!!!
I had this opportunity to attend the Mumbai Women Bloggers Meet Shave Or Crave organised by Blogadda.com with Swati.
The event was organised at SukhoThai Foot Spa, Andheri.

We were welcomed by the Blogadda representatives when we reached the venue and took us inside the spa.
The receptionist at Sukho Thai welcomed us and then asked me to fill a form.

Then the masseur led me to the changing room. After that she led me inside the spa.
The spa area was very dimly lit with a very soft music playing in the background. The walls adorned beautiful paintings.

The spa area is very peaceful and quiet. Something very rare in a city like Mumbai. The door that separates the reception and spa area actually actually separates two different worlds.
The spa area is divided into small cubicles. I was taken to one such cubicle.
The masseur first welcomed me with a namaste. Then she started with the foot massage followed by back and head massage. The fragrance of the aroma oils used and the gentle strokes to massage were very relaxing and I could feel all the stress leaving my body.
The massage went on for about 30 minutes. After the massage I was served a bowl of fresh fruits and refreshing hot ginger tea.
This was the first time I went to Sukho Thai and I am surely going back. You should surely give it a try too for the rejuvenating experience.

I was then taken to the meeting room upstairs where all the bloggers were blogged live on "How to get your man Shave"

We all hate the evening stubble, don't we??? Read some tips by Swati on how to make him shave ;).
It was then followed by a photo session. Also, the  Blogadda people gave us a copy of our photos.
This was then followed by yummy pizza, drinks and chat in the garden area outside the spa.
It was a wonderful experience and also an opportunity to meet the bloggers.

Thank you Swati and Blogadda team for this lovely experience. I so loved the pampering.

Dry Fruit Roll

Hey girls!!!!

I am so loving the Mumbai Winters. So thought of sharing this quick recipe with you all.
We all know eating dry fruits in winter is very good, don't we??
But how many of us actually eat dried fruits??I don't like eating them just like that so I make these easy - peasy dry fruit rolls.

Check out the quick recipe -

Ingredients:

  • Date Fruit
  • Raisins (Optional)
  • Nuts of your choice. I have used almonds and pistachios. If you like you can use cashew nuts, walnuts, etc. as well

Step 1:

  • Deseed the date fruit
  • Roughly chop all the other nuts and raisins.

Step 2:

  •  Now take the date fruit in a bowl and mash it with the help of a spoon to get a paste as in the picture below

Step 3:

  • Add the chopped nuts to the bowl and mix well.

Step 4 :

  • Make a roll from the above mixture.
  • Keep the roll in refrigerator for 15 - 20 minutes. (It is easier to cut it into pieces after refrigerating)

Step 5 :
  • After 15 minutes take out the roll from the refrigerator and cut it into slices of desired thickness. They are ready to eat.

These are very healthy, tasty and super easy to make. Have it after meal as deserts or anytime you like.
Liked this??? Let me know if you try these.
