How important it is for children to catch up on lost growth | Horlicks Growth+

Hey Everyone

Hope you are having a great weekend. I have been really tied up with work these days and hardly find any time to do anything :/

Last Sunday, I was at my Aunt’s place. That is when I met Prathamesh. He is her house help’s kid. A very naughty and active child, running all around the house. Playing with him, I did not realize how 3 hours passed. It was only when we were both called to eat lunch did I realize how we ourselves become kids with a child around. And with all the running and playing I was actually looking forward to a hearty lunch. A lovely spread of a variety of delicacies. I took a little of everything. But when I see Prathamesh’s plate, it just had steamed rice with very little dal. I was astonished and asked his Mom why he would just eat daal rice with so many yummy options on the table. That is when she said he is a very picky eater. He eats very few things. Even for school lunch he only takes bread and jam. And that is when it striked to me. School lunch? Is he a school going kid? Doesn’t really look a day over than two and a half years. What shocked me even more is that he is around 4 years. How can a child look half is actual age. He is really lagging behind in both height and weight. And that is not a hereditary issue. Both his mother and father are of average body structure.

That is when I did some research and found out that there are many other kids like Prathamesh who are lagging behind in their body growth due to several reasons. And the regular diet is not enough for them. They need additional supplements. One such nutrition product that I came across is Horlicks Growth+

Horlicks Growth+ is a specialized nutrition product designed by international pediatric experts for children in age group of 3-9 years who are lagging behind in height and weight. It contains high quality whey protein with added nutrients that are known to enable children to catch up on lost growth. It has been clinically proven for visible growth in children in 6 months.

But when going for additional supplements for kids starting something you found over the internet is not wise. So I suggested she visit a pediatrician. She asked me I could accompany her. I agreed and we called up for an appointment with their pediatrician in the evening. We spoke to her in the evening. I shared what I had read on the internet. The doctor then explained the reasons and solutions to us. Also, she said there is no harm in starting with Horlicks Growth+

On our way back home, we bought Horlicks Growth+ and she has already started it for the kid. Hopefully, the product helps.
