Hello Everyone!!!!

This post has been lying in my drafts for a while now. Recently Myntra.com offered me Rs.1000 /-  voucher to shop for beauty products. What do you think I did?? Ofcourse I said yes!!! Who says no to shopping.

My Experience:

This was the first time I was shopping with Myntra.com so I had to create a new account. It hardly takes 5 minutes to sign up. Don't want to do that??? You can also opt for Connect with Facebook option.

The site is easy to browse and you can narrow your searches category, brand, price, color, etc.

They have just started with the Beauty and Cosmetics so you may not find all the products but they are adding new things to their inventory.

They offer free shipping on orders above Rs. 999 /- which is not bad. If less than that you have to pay a flat shipping fee of Rs. 79/-

I placed my order on 19 May at 19:53 ( now you know I am really running late with my posts :P). My order was shipped on 20 May 00:14 (yes at night!!! don't they sleep??) and I received it on 21 May in the afternoon. That was super fast!!!

They offer various payment options - COD ( for orders between Rs. 299/- to Rs 20000/- for most of the addresses) , Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking and E.M.I. (Credit Card).

Also when placing an order with them don't forget to checkout the coupon code. The best part is you don't have to search for them. You can find them in My Myntra Coupons when you login.

Now let me quickly show you what I ordered.

All the products came together packed in a white Myntra bag.

Inside the bag all the products were placed in these sturdy boxes. I loved these ones as they can be reused to store something.

The products were bubble wrapped twice and hence reached me safe without any damage.

And here is what I ordered.

1. VLCC Cacti & Litchi facewash.
2. VLCC Frangipani & Oatmeal scrub.
3. VLCC Strawberry & Lily peel off mask.
4. Maybelline Baby Lips lip balm
5. Maybelline Dream Touch Blush.
6. Posnds BB cream.

I was looking for facewash meant for dry skin so I ordered the VLCC products.

Since the Maybelline Dream Touch Blush comes in a glass pot packaging it was placed inside yet another cardboard box.

I am very impressed with Myntra.com and am surely going to shop with them again. Super fast shipping, very good packaging and discount coupons in your shopping bag - What more do you want? I just wish they add more products to their beauty and cosmetics collection.
Will try to review these products soon.
I am also eyeing  their apparels, shoes and bags :D

Flipkart.com Haul

Hello Everyone !!!

Flipkart.com is one of my favorite shopping website when it comes to buying electronics and books. Last month browsing through the site I came across some new categories that have been added to the website - Clothing (which was introduced few months ago) and Footwear ( introduced last month)  for Men, Women and Kids. I had no intention of buying anything and was just going through their collection and I was impressed with the collection.The site is easy to browse with an option  to see similar products together, etc. They have thousands of designs form various brands like Bata, Carlton London, Catwalk, Pavers England, Clarks , etc.

And then I came across a pair of Catwalk Heels that my Mummy had wanted but didn't buy for some reason I don';t remember. Also, they were available at a discounted rate.The original price of the heels is Rs. 1495/- but they were available at Rs. 799/- (47% discount ). So I quickly placed an order without telling Mummy. Thought I would surprise her :)

My Experience:

I placed my order in the evening and it was processed and shipped the very next day. The order reached me in two working days. Very quick I must say.

The product was packed very well in a thick polythene bag. Inside the bag was a cardboard box which contained shoes. The shoes were put in a drawstring cloth pouch before placing them in the box.

Packaging was good and the products reached me safe.

When Mummy came back in the evening she was surprised and happy to see these. But then the shoes didn't fit her and were a size smaller  :(

I immediately called up their customer care to request exchange. They have a toll free customer care no. that is available 24*7 (thumbs up for that too). I told them that the shoes don't fit and asked them if it can be replaced for a bigger size. The customer care representative put me on hold for a couple of minutes to check if the bigger size is available. Since it was available he told me that the new pair would be sent out and the older one picked up in 2-3 working days. 

Again the shipping was quick and the new pair arrived in 2 working days and was exchanged with the older pair.

I loved shopping with them.

Payment :

Flipkart offers various payment methods like Internet Banking, E-Gift Voucher (eGV), Cash on Delivery, etc. They also offer EMI options.

Free Shipping:

They offer free shipping on orders valued Rs. 500 or above. If less than that you have to pay Rs. 50 for delivery. I always shop for more than that. Also since the courier charges have gone up you cannot ask for more.

What I like:

What I don't like:

• Nothing I loved shopping with them and am surely going back.
